                   GLOBAL FAMILY

Working with people and companies with similar goals and ideals of sustainability, fair trade products, building community and global family is essential to me.

SHI:  Sustainable Harvest International is one such organization. The Founder, Florence Reed, and I went to school together in the rainforests of Australia only to reconnect this past year after 20 years! She works diligently to build her non-profit organization to help in a multitude of ways in Belize. I am excited and honored to have the possibility of joining forces and bridging distance to bring people, culture, the rainforest and cacao together! Please visit her site at www.sustainableharvest.org.

MAYAN MAGIC GLOBAL RAW CACAO CAFE PHOTOS

See inside the cell phone, computer free, quiet ambiance of Mayan Magic nestled among  plants and water fountains enveloped by soft folds of serenity in the photo gallery below. Photos are available for sale on the online ordering page. I will be continually expanding the gallery.

I have also included some other photos take during my travels including some of the Peruvian rainforest.

connection surging through me, old feelings, new feelings, vague feelings.  I

was re-connecting to a distant place within myself. I felt alive and

passionate. There was a profound inner weaving occurring forming a puzzle

picture of my life that FINALLY made sense. Throughout the last three

years, through support, hardship and inner strength, Mayan Magic is NOW

birthed.

I desired to create a space where people could be rocked awake and

soothed at the same time. Hence, no cell phones or computers, removal of

shoes, sharing of a world vision, sitting with plants and trees whether you

choose the floor, couch or table, being with the sound of water,

experiencing an unusual “community” space all while exploring various

forms of Cacao. NO Cacao solids, only Raw, organic, granite ground, fair

trade, sustainable Cacao through The 7 Grandmothers and Mayan Fires,

raw and intense sipping Cacao, and fondue. Among other Cacao treats,

world teas and other delicacies of nature’s finest and greatest gifts are also

offered in the cafe and online. Sending the Cacao out to people not living

here is one of my primary goals. The cafe is in itself a venue for coming

together, for bridging distance and cultures, opening  us to change, getting

out of our boxes and being  present with ourselves, so we may truly bring

our best forward and work together in harmonious, prosperous and

benevolent ways. My vison is big and doesn’t come from me, rather through

me and is dearly tied to the children.  Mayan Magic is not about being

Mayan, it is about being You and seeing the “You” in everyone around you.

your path of the heart entails

being willing to take the path

less traveled. This, I believe, is

the heart’s way of helping us

pay closer and closer

attention to her whispers. Her

intention in reaching us

perhaps? An unknown path

rarely allows us to go

very far or do very well on our

own. Mayan Magic’s vision is to bring people together first within themselves, re-

connecting within their own heart, then with the earth and with one another.

This focus is foundational for my vision as it weaves and bridges the gaps

between people, cultures, beliefs and hearts to come together as one,

creating global family.  It is a shift in consciousness, of structure, of thinking

and being.

Mayan Magic’s Conception: About three years ago, I was brought and

handed a block of cacao solids as I was told, “I was guided to bring this to

you”. hmmm. My friend asked me if I wanted to know what to do with it and

my entire being responded with a resounding “NO”!  I felt a profound
